I created a collection of animals for a Nativity theme last Christmas, thinking of all the animals that might have been present when Christ was born in the stable. Donkeys, hens, sparrows? These animals might have heard the baby’s first cry! Since I’m a farm kid, this idea intrigues me! I love painting boldly with confident brushstrokes and lively brushwork!
